Background and History of GG

As internet culture expanded, GG moved outside gaming. Social media users started using it in comments, memes, and conversations. Today, it is recognized by many people who may not even play video games.
The growth of streaming platforms and esports helped spread GG worldwide. Professional gamers, content creators, and online communities made the term part of everyday digital language.
